The Taranaki Arts Festival Trust (TAFT) presents three festivals: WOMAD New Zealand; the Taranaki International Festival of the Arts; the Taranaki Rhododendron & Garden Festival. It also co-presents Sounds Aotearoa and manages a performing arts venue – The TSB Showplace. The trust’s aim is to deliver world class events, in world class venues, delivered by a world class team. TAFT is situated in the city of New Plymouth, in the Taranaki Region of New Zealand and was established as a charitable trust in 1991.
